How do you click on a link in an aim profile with jaws? For example, someone may have the following in their profile: “read my journal!”. Is there a way to access a link like this with jaws? Thanks!
Hi Megan, Just route your Jaws cursor ... I think it's the same as Window-Eyes, so hit Insert and that other button on the numpad. The second long button on the right from the bottom. So go to the bottom right hand corner and go up to the second long button. That one. If that makes sense. Then use your up down left and right arrows on the numpad, which are 8 (up), 2 (down), 4 (left), and 6 (right). And navigate 'til you find the first letter of the link. THen hit the left mouse button on the numpad when your'e there. The left button is on the top row, the second from the left. The page should then load either in the AIM window or in IE or whatever your browser is. If it loads in the AIM window there might be sublinks which you can click on in the same way. If this doesn't make sense feel free to ask anymore questions. Caitlin
And make sure numlock is off when you try and route your cursor. That's the top left button on the numpad. You probably no all thsi but in case anyone else is interested...I'm makign srue to post it as well lol.
And you route Jaws to PC to do this...I told Megan this on QN's but in case anyone else is interested thoguht I'd post it here.
